"6 Beauty hacks for when you're running late"

We've all been there. You hit the snooze button one too many times, you couldn't find that perfect outfit, or you’re a busy mom and now you're running late. If you're someone who likes to look your best whenever you leave the house, this can be especially stressful because who has time to do a full face when you're running out the door? Not to worry, I've got you covered with six quick and easy makeup and hair hacks that will help you look fabulous even when you're short on time.

1. Skip the Foundation

If you're in a hurry, foundation is one of the first things you can skip without compromising the rest of your makeup look. Simply apply some concealer where needed and go about your day! If you can’t go without foundation, I like to dot my foundation and moisturizer on and then use a kabuki brush to blend it all in quickly.

2. Use a lip and cheek stain.

A lip and cheek stain is the perfect multitasking product when you're short on time. Just apply it to your lips and cheeks and blend with your fingers for a natural flush of color that will last all day long. Of course I have lip & cheek product in my makeup line. Check out all the colors here!

4. Set your makeup with setting spray.

A quick spritz of setting spray will help ensure that your makeup stays in place all day long—no touch-ups necessary!

5. Make sure you have all the tools you need before you start.

This may seem like a no-brainer, but it's something we often forget when we're in a rush. Before you start doing your makeup, lay out everything you'll need so you're not fumbling around trying to find things mid-application. It'll save you tons of time (and frustration).

6. Dry Shampoo is Your Best Friend

If you don't have time for a shower, dry shampoo is your next best bet. A few spritzes of this magical product will absorption excess oil and leave your hair looking and feeling fresh. Just be sure not to go overboard, or you'll end up with white powder all over your dark clothing. I do my dry shampoo at night to avoid getting the white powder look. If you haven't already tried Amika dry shampoo, you have to have it in your life. Learn more about Amika dry shampoo here.

We hope these six quick tips help make those mornings when you're running late just a little bit easier (and help you avoid looking not so good when you run into someone you know ). Do you have any other quick and easy beauty hacks? Share them with us in the comments below!
